Fernitz parish church & sculpture park

The parish church of the Assumption of Mary is a Baroque gem and one of the most beautiful village churches in Styria. The adjacent parish garden with its sculpture park invites you to linger. Art, tranquility, and nature combine here to create a place of encounter and inspiration.

Murauen – pure nature

The Murauen floodplains around Mellach are a natural paradise: ancient trees, hidden paths, and rare bird species make them an El Dorado for walkers, nature photographers, and those seeking peace and quiet. Today's districts Fernitz and Mellach were merged in 2015 as part of the municipal structural reform. Both places have their roots in the Middle Ages and were for centuries Agriculture, trade and river proximity embossed.
