The first spa guests arrived around 1890after the Southern Railway opened a stop. Summer resort villas, sanatoriums and the famous Kneipp home – Laßnitzhöhe developed into one of the most important health resorts in Styria.

Especially in the Interwar period and the 20th century the place was a center for Recovery, respiratory treatments and regenerationToday, this tradition lives on – with a modern interpretation, complemented by hiking opportunities, health programs, and a high quality of life.
